Introduction

The purpose of this deck is to add some variety and spice to your games. How you use them is up to you, although we have provided a few suggestions below and there will be forth coming scenarios released on the site that will make use of them.

To make simply download and print out the PDF using printable card and cut out the cards. When printed selected two sided printing so that the backs are printed on the reverse side. If your printer can not do this, print out as normal and glue to backs to the fronts using a glue stick.

How to Use

Shuffle the cards and place near to both players. When ever it has been agreed to use a card, take the top card out and follow its instructions. Place the card in a discard pile for later reshuffling. The card is described as below:

1) Title. The title of the card being played.

2) Flavour text. This is a short bit of flavour text to help set the mood for the event being played.

3) The rules text. The person who picked the card out can read this (and the above piece of text). This contains what actually happens and how it affects the game and players.

4) Affected Symbol. Each card has a symbol that denotes who and what this event card will affect. The symbols are explained as follows:

This event card will affect the good player in a beneficial way, giving them some sort of bonus or advantage.

This event card will affect the evil player in a beneficial way, giving them some sort of bonus or advantage.

This event card will affect the player with priority in a beneficial way, either by giving them a bonus or advantage or by penalising their opponent directly.

This event card will affect the player without priority in a beneficial way, either by giving them a bonus or advantage or by penalising their opponent directly.

This event card will bring a monster or creature on to the board, where this creatures comes on from will be described on the card. This creature is then controlled by the person with priority using the following rules:

* It must be moved first before any other model.

* It must charge the nearest model to it if it can, even if that model is the person who is currently controlling the creature.

This event card will put in place a permanent effect. This remains in play until it is replaced by another permanent effect. Do not place this card on the discard pile until it has been replaced. Instead place it somewhere where both players can see it to be reminded of the effects in play.

When to Use Suggestions

When you make use of the Event Deck is up to you but here are a few suggestions.

* When priority is drawn.

* When a player has priority for a consecutive turn.

* When a hero dies.

* Every turn.

You could even try using combinations of above such as when priority is drawn and when a player has priority for a consecutive turn.
